 Outreach Ministries involve our thrust in Evangelism and Missions, striving to bring the Word of God and Jesus Christ to others throughout the world.

Evangelism

• Greeters - Welcome people as they come to church for worship

• Visitor Center - Welcome visitors following worship

• Hospitality - Serve coffee & refreshments following the worship service

• Visitation - Visit newcomers and members in their homes

• New Residents - Send mailings to new residents in the community.

Missions

• Short Term Mission Projects - Volunteer for a short period of time to help build and repair churches and schools in the United States and other areas of the world

• General Mission Programs - Assist in developing local mission programs within our church to assist mission programs locally and abroad

• Camping - Assist in the Iowa United Methodist Conference Camping Program

Church & Society

• Welfare Reform - Serve on Task Forces to assist in programs of welfare reform in our community and other areas.

• Habitat for Humanity - Volunteers with a variety of skills are utilized to help rebuild and remodel buildings to provide affordable housing

Member Care

• Prayer Chain - Join others in the need to pray for others

• Funeral Luncheons - Provide food and assistance at the time of funeral services for persons who are members or related to our church family

• Special Events - Plan and participate in church wide activities held during our church year.
