Committees

Our congregation is organized around twelve central committees, meeting to work the tasks assigned to each. Pastors are assigned to meet with specific committees. The Administrative Council is comprised of the Chairs of eight committees, the Pastors, Members at Large, the Lay Leader, Lay Members to Annual Conference, UMW President(s), UMYF leaders and Staff Consultants. Task Groups are assigned to the Committees to work with specific projects. An Endowment Committee manages endowed investments

Program Committees:

EVANGELISM meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm
Mission: "To reach to those outside our church community, inviting, welcoming, including them in congregational life."
WORSHIP meets at the call of the Chairperson, at least four times annually.
Mission: "To assist individuals in finding a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ."
EDUCATION meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm
Mission: "To provide opportunities for individuals to grow and develop their faith through fellowship and education."
MISSIONS meets on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm.
Mission: "To provide opportunities for individuals to give of themselves to others in the community and world, through time, gifts and service."

Administrative Committees

Finance meets on the Fourth Wednesday of most months at 6:00 pm Watch the weekly calendar for announcements of meeting times and places
Staff Parish Relations meets as needed. Watch the weekly calendar for announcements.
Endowment Committee meets at the call of the Chairperson. Watch the weekly calendar for announcements.
Trustees meet monthly on the second Monday at 7:00 pm.
Committee on Nominations meet as called by the Pastors.
The Memorials Committee meets as needed at the call of the Chairperson.
ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL meets on the fourth Thursday at 7:00 pm in the months of January, March, May, September and November.
